Forever Lite Ultra Breakfast Shakes

With so many of us time poor its easy to skip meals, especially breakfast and then grab something later, when predictably, we often fall for temptation and high carbs.

Forever Lite Ultra Shakes

At the simplest, most basic level just add 300ml of water or milk - skimmed, rice, almond or coconut etc to your Forever travel beaker before adding one scoop of Forever Lite Ultra in either chocolate or vanilla flavour. Pop the special lid on and give it a good shake. Hidden within the lid is an open mesh section that neatly acts like a whisk to smoothly mix the powder into the liquid. A few quick flicks of the wrist and breakfast’s ready! No need for a blender or nutri-bullitt (though lovely if you can afford one.)

There’s also a small compartment that screws onto the base of the Forever shaker so that you can either take a measure of the Forever Lite Ultra separately to mix later in the day or use the compartment to take small pieces of fruit or crunchy vegetables, (sugar snap peas are really delicious raw) for a mid morning snack and surprisingly filling.

Two Forever Ultra Lite shakes with Aminotein, served with skimmed milk supply 100% of the RDA for vitamins and minerals – supplying 18 important amino acids, including essential, non-essential and branch-chain amino acids.

The Aminotein is a unique blend of enzymes that are especially designed to break down protein in your diet.

Since I did the Clean 9 cleanse I regularly have a shake for breakfast and enjoy coming up with variations. Here are a couple of my favourites that I hope will inspire your creativity – happy breakfasts!

1 X scoop Forever Lite Ultra Chocolate

300ml skimmed milk

Small handful fresh raspberries and blueberries

2-3 ice cubes (optional)

Blitz in blender until smooth

Make sure your blender can cope with ice cube though.

1 X scoop Forever Lite Ultra Vanilla

300ml soya (unsweetened version)

2 kiwi’s peeled and chopped

handful of blueberries

2-3 ice cubes (optional)

Blitz in blender until smooth

1 X scoop Forever Lite Ultra vanilla

300ml almond milk (unsweetened version)

Small handful fresh strawberries

2-3 ice cubes (optional)

Blitz in blender until smooth

Speedy tip – can use frozen fruits instead of ice cubes

These next two create a great mood enhancing breakfast burst but not for those that are following the Clean 9 as bananas are not permitted during the cleanse.

1 X scoop Forever Lite Ultra in chocolate

300ml skimmed milk

1 ripe banana

2-3 ice cubes

Blitz in blender until smooth as before

1 X scoop Forever Lite Ultra in vanilla

300ml unsweetened soya milk or skimmed milk

1 ripe banana

Good dash cinnamon

2-3 ice cubes

Blitz as before

The Caribbean – not if following the Clean 9

1 X scoop Forever Lite Ultra Vanilla

300ml coconut milk (unsweetened)

1 X small ripe fresh mango (remove peel and inner stone)

2-3 ice cubes (optional)

Blitz in a blender until smooth

Make sure your blender can cope with ice cubes though.

N.B. Always choose the unsweetened versions of the various milks - almond, rice, coconut, soya etc as they contain far fewer calories.
